PORTLAND EVENT--already?!?!

TODAY is our Portland event-wow! Time sure did fly on by. Here are the details:

At OAKS BOTTOM PARK- South endof the River--near the Amusement Park.
Raffle at 2:30--food for everyone! (provided by Subway)

Okay, so here is a bit more info. about our whereabouts in San Diego--we were just down at the park, what a beautiful venue! This being our first time in San Diego, it's hard to say the EXACT location, but--we will be at the shore by the playground, and we will post signs to find us! Long hard road to Southern Cal!

That hot desert air nearly got the best of us, but alas--we have arrived in sunny, beautiful Southern CA. We considered purchasing a surfboard to throw on the roof, or just carry around to fit in around here, but instead decided to turn this town into a paddling town--well, at least Mission Bay for a day!

Our partnership with Adaptive Adventures proved to be a tremendous success-we were so humbled to work with such adventurous, motivated cool kids! The raffle was a hit thanks so much to our great sponsors. The sun was shining, our kids were paddling and everyone was smiling!

Thank you so much to all of the great people who came out to paddle (and clean up Sloans Lake) one piece of trash at a time!

Update for Minnesota Event

We've been on the road a couple days so far and today we're blogging from a free wi-fi hotspot outside Indianapolis - thank you Panera Bread. We've got some updates about our Minneapolis event to pass on. We will be at Lake Nokomis in Minneapolis on Aug. 1st from noon to 4pm. The Autism Society of Minnesota will be represented at the event so this will be a great oppurtunity for people to learn about both local and international work being done on behalf of kids with autism!
