Planning underway in a BIG WAY!

Wristbands have been ordered, Autism Society of America chapters across the United States have been contacted, and sponsors are on board; including REI who is donating the use of the kayaks at each location! We have a safety plan in place, and The American Canoe Association is going to sanction the event. Yes, details are quickly falling into place, and the happy paddlers are anxious to hit the waterways!

Hopefully by now you've checked out our website and seen the fabulous logo created just for this event by our AMAZING, TALENTED and ever so GENEROUS web designer, Lara Dickson of www.wallingfordstudio.com. We have definitely enjoyed working with her, she has really given this project an awesome presence on the World Wide Web--Thanks, Lara!

Sounds like a great project. Unfortunately I can't find dates and locations for the paddling events. Will you be in each and everyone of the listed cities on July 22, 2005, or are you visiting the different cities on different days?

I live in Salt Lake City. It is a big place. I doubt I would find you even if I knew the date and time, without knowing the place. BTW, you do know that there is not a good paddling river in Salt Lake. If you are just looking for still water, you might try the section of the Jordan River near the International Peace Gardens. It is not the best paddling, but a good place for fund raisers...being a Peace Gardens and all.
